A lot of my friends contacted me today, and I have been really touched by many of the conversations I had. I even got a half serious job offer--incredible. Thanks to everyone for their emails and calls of support! I spent part of the day updating my PC, and doing an "identity update" of what seemed like my millions of accounts and passwords all over the Internet, and stuff like that which I never had time to do before.... Time consuming. I am settling on an intial experiment which I plan to launch soon.

This morning I suffered a major reversal in family court. I was removed as President of iambic, Inc. a company that I started in late 1993. Now, I have something else in common with Steve Jobs to talk with him about when I meet him!
And while I of course do not agree with the court's decision, it gives me the opportunity to pursue new ideas and start my second company. I am excited about having this blank sheet of paper and the time.
I will worry for my staff and customers back at iambic, but I am sure that looking back on this many years from now we will say that it all worked out for the best.
Stay tuned for more details on my entrepreneurial journey.

I was born and grew up in Miami, Florida where I attended Coral Gables Senior High. In 1988, I graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Then I continued at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where I earned a Masters degree in Computer Engineering. I hold an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University .
I founded and lead iambic, Inc. a software company in Sunnyvale, CA that developed the best selling applications for Palm OS and Symbian devices. I have 12 years engineering and management experience in the mobile area. Prior to founding iambic, Inc. in 1994 , I worked as a software engineer at a variety of high-tech firms including Bell Communications Research, Frame Technology (later acquired by Adobe), and Novell.
