For over the past year, I have been a Blackberry user, and last month I got a new 8700c. One of the really great things about this device is Cingular's new EDGE network which makes browsing the web in real-time finally possible. I've used it on many occassions to great effect including....
This weekend I went shopping with my daughter at the mall. She wanted to show me the Onyx ultimate hair straightener from herstyler.com.
It's a great product, which retails for $175. The salesman at the kiosk was very helpful and mentioned that we could buy it right now on sale for only $119 plus tax! My daughter really wanted it too. All might have been good for him except that I pulled out my 8700c and started cruising the web to get info on the product. I pulled up the company's website. I googled the product, and most interestingly, I found one on
eBay closing in 1 hour for only $32.99. I told my daughter, let's take a walk as I entered a bid using the Blackberry's web browser. When we got home 1 hour later, I had won. My daughter remarked to me, "It's so interesting that we went shopping at the mall, and ended up buying on the Internet." Indeed. This is the future, and not such great news for retail shops. More details to follow.

I have a herstyler straightener and love it. I have curly hair and it straightens it really well. Then if i want tamer looking curls i will use it to curl my hair too. I think it is fabulous and is the coolest straightener/ curler that i have owned

I just bougth the herstyler at the mall, at a kiosk. I paid 100.00 for it, and love it! I did see some on ebay for a little less, but I think of it like this; had I not been approached in the mall by the worker, at the kiosk I would have never know to look on ebay for it. I love my herstyler. I plan on sending in the warranty, which I have for 5 years. I too was promised free hair styling, but honestly...who is going to go to the mall, at the kiosk to have someone do your hair? I would have paid for more for this iron, and am very happy with it.

Hello Stephanie, I am with Karmin which is becoming fast leader in the Professional Hair Tool market. I just wanted to say if you have not found an iron to come check out the new Karmin Titanium, if you do a search online you will see people talking about it and with many good reviews. We do offer a 3 year warranty that at the time of this post is the only iron with this length of warranty. If you are interested come by our website and have a look, you can also email us any questions that you may have. Take Care, Kristy www.myhairstylingtools.com

Hi, I know this is an old post, but i'm hoping you will still reply. What did you think of the hair straightener from herstyler? Has it worked out well? I just got duped into buying one from the kiosk and when i came home I went online to check it out. I have seen both good and bad reviews on it. The only thing that really incited me into buying it was that the seller gave me a discount and then told me that I could come in whenever I wanted for the next year and she would style my hair for me free of charge. I'm feeling kinda stupid now though after i saw the prices for it on ebay, but what can i do? I can't return it. Hopefully you will get back to me soon and you will have a positive response and my own trial use of the straightener will go well, or else i'm going to have to see if i can get one of the corioliss products instead, as the booth is supposed to sell them and they are supposed to be of much better quality. Thanks for posting! ~Stephanie
